Joint MSc in Electrical Engineering (JMEE)

is a Joint Master in Electrical Engineering programme between Birzeit University and Palestine Polytechnic University. The Programme leads to a Master degree in Electrical Engineering in either Telecommunication or Power concentrations. The programme is a result of joint efforts between three Palestinian universities (Birzeit University, Palestine Polytechnic University and Palestine Technical University-Khadori), representatives of Palestinian industry (JDECo and PITA), and 4 European universities (UoS-UK, ESTIA-France, TUCN-Romania, and RU-Bulgaria) in a project funded by Tempus–European Union. The Tempus project has equipped BZU and PPU labs with all the needed facilities, software, and equipment to establish an up-to-date research environment.

In order to obtain a Master degree, the student has to complete successfully 36 Credit Hours including a Master thesis. The courses of the programme will be delivered every semester alternatively between Birzeit University and Palestine Polytechnic University.
